The Stephenville Crossing Public Library is located in the Town Office Building on West Street. Mrs. Kay Lucas, our first Librarian, started work in Dec. 1968. The library officially opened in Jan. of 1969. Mrs. Lucas remained as Librarian until her retirement in 1987. Mrs. Lucas' daugther, Mrs. Joan Downey, became the Librarian at that time and remains in that position today. |
